Italian blogger Leo Turrini, who is famously very close to proceedings at Scuderia Ferrari, reflects on the Maranello team’s situation and the possible consequences of naming a new CEO, after Ferrari chief executive Louis Camilleri retired “with immediate effect,” the company announced last month.
“Ferrari will soon reveal its track organisation in detail. But let’s not underestimate the possible consequences of the arrival of the new CEO. He will want to change more than one thing especially if the choice of the shareholders should fall on a certain person” – Leo Turrini wrote in a recent post published on his quotidiano.net blog.
In a previous blog entry, Ferrari insider Leo Turrini admitted that he did not know the candidates for the position of Ferrari CEO, but his latest post suggests that he mai have heard something and that John Elkann is taking his time in choosing the right person. Additionally he said that Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto enjoys the support of the top management for now, but not all of them though, without offering specific details on the subject.
