Scuderia Ferrari was undoubtedly the main attraction on the opening day of the Imola weekend, marking Formula 1’s return to the Santerno circuit after a two-year absence. While the engines remain silent for now, awaiting the start of on-track activities with the first two free practice sessions scheduled for tomorrow, the images speak volumes.
Challenge to Red Bull and McLaren
Ferrari unveiled the updated SF-24 in front of their garage in a sort of ‘presentation’ to the world. This car has sparked much discussion leading up to this weekend.
All eyes are now on the track results, which will determine whether the upgrades brought by Frederic Vasseur’s team will be enough to challenge Red Bull and to get ahead of McLaren, fresh off Lando Norris’s splendid victory in the Miami Grand Prix.
