Ferrari to use new paint which could reduce car weight by 700 grams | 2022 Spanish GP. Ferrari to use new paint for F1-75.

How different will the Ferrari F1-75 be in the next round of the 2022 Formula 1 season, the Spanish GP, when the Maranello team will be introducing its first major package of technical updates?

After seeing cars that in some parts have been literally stripped of the paint, such as Red Bull and Williams, the Maranello team remains faithful to its DNA, but allows itself a small change in shade that is barely visible except in certain light conditions which allows a significant weight reduction. The update package that will be brought to Barcelona should be worth a total of 2 or 3 kg in this regard.

The work carried out by the Maranello technicians, therefore, spreads across any area, not just in terms of aerodynamics …
