Ferrari enjoys its star duo Lewis Hamilton – Charles Leclerc
Surrounded by the warmth of the Tifosi, who had gathered in Fiorano from dawn, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc began their work with the SF-25 by completing a shakedown at the Fiorano track yesterday.
At this stage, excitement runs high among the drivers, the team, and the entire environment, but only the first races will reveal whether this enthusiasm will translate into strong results on track. The collaboration between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will be crucial—something not to be taken for granted, as Formula 1 history is filled with intense rivalries within teams. Even Hamilton himself has experienced two fierce internal battles, with Fernando Alonso and Nico Rosberg. However, team principal Frederic Vasseur firmly believes in their partnership.

“Honestly, I am not surprised by their relationship. You know that at this time of the year, every team considers itself world champion, and everything is positive,” the Frenchman said in a press conference. “The first weeks of collaboration between them have been very good. They have managed to build a strong relationship, and the most important thing now is to maintain it and continue working as a team. I am absolutely sure I will be proven right.” – the French manager pointed out.
“A teammate is always an opportunity for growth. One of a driver’s key abilities is the constant pursuit of improvement, and one of the best ways to do that is by analyzing your teammate’s performance. They are the closest reference, and you have access to their data. If you are smart, you can take a step forward thanks to your teammate,” he continued. “I am not worried at all; we need this kind of healthy competition. I discussed this last year with Charles and Carlos as well. If we want to succeed, we need two strong drivers who push each other in a positive way. I am sure that will be the case.” – the Ferrari team principal concluded.
