This time the sponsor Mission Winnow wanted to think outside the box, sparking the discussion between those who appreciated that green touch in the livery of the Ferrari SF21 (the majority) and those who, instead, did not like the new chromatic play of the logo on the hood.
There is no doubt that in the sober color of Ferrari which proposed two shades of Red (the usual one and the amaranth of the first racing Ferrari, the 125S, which had already been seen at the Tuscan GP, when the Scuderia celebrated it’s 1000th GP), the green of Mission Winnow does not go unnoticed, giving the value of an important sponsor for its economic and historical support.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz commenting yesterday on the livery of the SF21 were able to say that the green was added in the last week, because the car they had seen was more traditional. Motorsport.com, on the other hand, was able to ascertain that the green flou appeared on the engine cover is the result of a specific study in Philip Morris and not of a last-minute choice.
The green arrow, therefore, like a green screen, the chroma key of films that opens up the opportunity to imagine new horizons. The logo, therefore, is a new stage in continuous development.
The SF21 that was seen in Sakhir on the filming day with the two drivers was branded with the Mission Winnow logo which will also be on the Ferrari in the three days of pre-season testing that begins tomorrow morning. The idea is to use the logo much more often than it was possible in 2020.
