Ferrari set to introduce revised livery for 2022 Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Ferrari set to run yellow F1 livery at Italian GP.

Scuderia Ferrari plans to use a special celebration livery for the next round of the 2022 Formula One season, the Italian Grand Prix, which takes place next weekend at the Monza circuit, in front of the Tifosi, who will finally be able to attend the track without any restrictions. For this special event, Ferrari will incorporate the yellow colour.

With just a few days until track action at Monza, an updated colour scheme could be seen on Ferrari’s garage doors, while earlier today, the Italian side officially confirmed on social media a special “Giallo Modena Special Edition” t-shirt, with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz dressed in yellow t-shirts, which will be used to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Ferrari’s first Formula 1 victory.

Scuderia Ferrari also hinted that Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will “also have a yellow car for the Monza race”.

The Maranello team has used revised liveries in the past, most recently at the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix, where it celebrated its 1000th race in Formula 1. The last time Ferrari released special celebration shirts was also Monza, three years ago, when Charles Leclerc won on an amazing Sunday afternoon for the Tifosi. This time Red Bull start the race weekend as clear favourites, given the fact that the Monza circuit is favouring straight-line speed, which has been one of Red Bull’s strengths this year.
