Ferrari has unveiled new merchandising dedicated to the US Grand Prix: discover the two new T-shirts inspired by American football.
The combination of F1 and American football works well. This was evident in Miami, where the paddock was even hosted inside the Hard Rock Stadium, home to the Dolphins. It can also be seen in Austin. This time, it’s Ferrari that inaugurates Formula 1’s return to the United States. They do so in an entirely innovative way. The Maranello-based team, which has always had strong ties to the United States, even in road car production, wanted to pay tribute to America’s most popular sport.
In doing so, they have launched two exclusive T-shirts inspired by the uniforms used in the NFL championship. These T-shirts have a loose fit, half sleeves, and a large number on the front, all in full American football style.
On the back, once again, you can find the numbers of the two drivers, with the word “Ferrari” where the player’s name is normally located.
The classic “jersey” is thus colored with the Maranello House’s colors: Ferrari Red as the background, black to highlight the shoulders, and the Italian tricolor to characterize the sleeves.
This is a new development in the collaboration between Ferrari and Puma, following the limited edition merchandise launched for the Monza Grand Prix.
All of this, as mentioned, aims to strengthen the connection between Formula 1 and the United States, following the course set by the new ownership made in the USA.
