The spectacular atmosphere of the Zandvoort circuit has not only overwhelmed the local hero, Max Verstappen, but also all the other protagonists of the Formula 1 Circus. And if Lewis Hamilton, despite a few boos received from the stands, still wanted to express words of affection to the colorful and noisy orange crowd, there are those who – as an opponent – wanted to pay homage to today’s poleman. Gino Rosato, a Ferrari employee for many years and a face now known to all Formula 1 fans around the world, has not in fact resisted the temptation to ask for a selfie with Max Verstappen, who has been – up to now – the great protagonist of the weekend.
After qualifying, Gino Rosato waited for the Red Bull driver – in the past at the center of many controversies with the Maranello team – and managed to snatch a nice photo together, which was then immediately published on his Instagram profile. “I would like to beat this guy every week – wrote the Ferrari member in English with the photo, tagging Max Verstappen – but when we are not on top go, go Max! A great guy, it doesn’t get simpler than that “. Beautiful words, in the name of sportsmanship, also appreciated by # 33 himself, who responded with a story on Instagram to thank his friend-rival. “I am pleased that you are enjoying the Dutch experience – wrote Verstappen – thanks for the nice words Gino, you have a great sportsmanship”.
