Ferrari has officially unveiled the drivers’ suits for the 2026 Formula 1 season, confirming some of the trends discussed over recent weeks and clearly defining the visual direction for the new sporting cycle.
Red remains the dominant color, as tradition dictates, but the presence of white is more prominent than in previous years. Used in a broader and more structured way, the white accents create a stronger visual contrast, introducing a cleaner, more recognizable design language while maintaining Ferrari’s iconic identity.
A modern design for Leclerc and Hamilton
The new suits, designed for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton for the 2026 World Championship, feature a more vertical design, with white inserts running across the shoulders, torso, and legs. This design visually lightens the Ferrari red without altering its essence. The iconic Prancing Horse logo remains prominently on the chest, while main sponsors are displayed in an orderly and symmetrical layout.
Conceptually, this choice is intentional. White serves as both a contrasting element and a transitional feature in a season marking the start of a new technical era for Formula 1 and for Ferrari itself. The team appears to want to communicate historical continuity while embracing change, using the suit as the first visual symbol of 2026.
Consistency across the team’s visual identity
The new suits are part of a broader color strategy that spans merchandising, communications, and the team’s identity. Ferrari aims to make its 2026 look immediately recognizable, not only on the track but also across all fan-facing channels.
While fans await the SF-26 and the technical choices that will define Ferrari’s competitiveness, the suits serve as the first official element of a season that Maranello sees as pivotal. They send a strong, deliberate visual signal, reflecting the team’s ambition to turn the page while remaining true to Ferrari’s enduring identity.
