Ferrari chose to create dedicated merch for the Canadian GP. The designers from Maranello were particularly inspired by ice hockey, a very popular sport in the nation. This time, unlike what was seen in Miami, the “collection” consists only of a long-sleeve shirt. In Florida, we had also seen other items, such as a shirt and a cap.
“This shirt pays homage to the world of ice hockey,” Ferrari posted on its official website, “once again affirming Scuderia Ferrari as one of the most iconic global brands, able to transcend the aesthetics of motorsport.”
“The design of the garment is characterized by the legendary Ferrari red on which the sponsor logos and the iconic Shield stand out. The garment, exclusively made by Puma for Scuderia Ferrari, is made unique by the maxi print with the driver’s number in contrasting color on the back.”
The shirt is available in Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz versions. On the back, the number 16 or 55 will be printed, respectively. The shirt is already available for purchase on the Ferrari store at the price of 100€.
Ferrari in Canada to repeat to great Monaco performance
The weekend in Montreal will be very important for the Maranello team. After the victory in Monaco, the goal is certainly to try to repeat the amazing result in Monte Carlo. The Canadian track, on paper, could suit the SF-24 well. As in Monte Carlo, it is also important in Montreal to drive on the curbs, and we have seen that Ferrari seems to be strong in this aspect.
We will see if this will still be a problem for Red Bull. In Milton Keynes, they have worked a lot in these two weeks after the difficulties in the Principality and will want to regain the victory.
Eyes are also on McLaren, which has made a huge step forward since Miami and is also a candidate for a leading role in Canada. A close fight on the track is expected.
