Scuderia Ferrari are going to launch a Michael Schumacher exhibition to celebrate the legend’s 50th birthday in January at their headquarters in Italy.
Michael Schumacher won an F1 record of seven world titles – achieving five of them with Ferrari, before the German eventually retired from racing in 2012.
Since then, Schumacher was involved in a serious skiing accident in December 2013 and has not been seen in the public eye since the accident.
The exhibition of celebration will be held at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, and will be opened on 3 January 2019.
Ferrari released a statement: “Michael has a special place in the history of Ferrari.
“The rooms of the museum are decorated with images from the unforgettable years that the seven-time world champion gave to all at Ferrari.”
Schumacher’s son, Mick, is currently enjoying his younger years of motorsport – winning the F3 title last season; moving up to F2 for 2019 and has been tipped to follow in his father’s footsteps in the future and become an F1 driver, and perhaps even, an F1 world champion.
