Oliver Bearman’s comments
The Englishman stated: “It will be my rookie season in Formula 1, but my third rookie season overall in the last four years.” – he pointed out – “The only thing I want is to be proud of my performances. I always say it has nothing to do with results, because they don’t depend solely on me. I simply want to be able to perform at my highest level, and I believe in myself enough to think that I can perform at a very high level,” concluded the driver who grew up in the Ferrari Driver Academy.
Ollie Bearman has spent several years developing his skills within the Ferrari Driver Academy and made his Formula 1 debut with the Italian team at this year’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
His role as a reserve driver for both Ferrari and Haas has now led to a full-season opportunity with Haas next year. The Ferrari junior is eager to continue working under the Maranello team’s guidance, this time alongside Lewis Hamilton.
“I think he will bring a lot of experience to the team,” Oliver Bearman said in an interview for Sky Sports. “He has won seven world championships, something that not many can boast. He will bring a good mentality to the team, a winning mentality, and his talent is undeniable. He is one of the best ever. It is fantastic that he can share his experience with me. I hope to learn a lot from him and I hope that Ferrari does too, because I think he will be a valuable asset for the team.”
