Arthur Leclerc is the younger brother of Charles. He also has an older brother, Lorenzo, who is also passionate about motorsports but works in a different field. The Monegasque is quickly emerging as one of the young promises of international motorsport. Although living in the shadow of Charles’ success, Arthur is proving that he has the talent and determination needed to shine on his own.
Career
Arthur is not just Charles Leclerc’s brother; he is also a skilled driver. He started his career in karting, a necessary step for many young drivers. His dedication and skill quickly led him to make the jump to single-seaters.
In 2018, he debuted in single-seaters in the French Formula 4 championship, securing his first victory at Nogaro in just the second race of his career, and repeating this success at Magny-Cours later in the year. At that time, Charles’ brother had already come into contact with the prestigious Ferrari Driver Academy, and it seems he had participated in one of the evaluation camps that the Academy organizes to scout potential new drivers.
In 2019, Arthur continued racing in the same category but made a significant leap in competitiveness. He moved to the German ADAC Formel 4 championship, where he quickly showed his true potential, demonstrating remarkable consistency. He secured a victory at Hockenheim and collected seven more podiums, which allowed him to finish the season with a respectable fifth place in the overall standings.
In 2020, Arthur made his debut with Prema Powerteam in the European Formula Regional championship, impressing everyone with some extraordinary performances, especially in wet conditions. Although he finished the season as vice-champion, he was the driver with the most wins overall, with six victories. Thanks to these results, he earned the trust of the team, which confirmed him for the following season, leading him to compete in Formula 3 in 2021.
In the new championship, Arthur showed constant progress, delivering a season that steadily improved. He scored two significant victories, at Le Castellet and Zandvoort, in addition to securing a second place, a pole position, and two fastest laps, showing remarkable improvement throughout the year.

In 2022, Arthur continued racing with the same team and in the same championship, but he also expanded his calendar by participating in the Formula Regional Asia championship between January and February. With the Mumbai Falcons team car, Arthur dominated the series, taking home the championship title.
In the main championship, Arthur managed to secure a victory and finished the season in sixth place in the standings. Eager to continue growing, in 2023 he decided to move up to Formula 2 with the DAMS team. However, a series of unforeseen events and technical issues hindered his progress, relegating him to 15th place in the overall standings. Despite the difficulties, Arthur showed grit and determination, finishing in the top 10 on ten occasions and stepping onto the podium in Melbourne, demonstrating his ability to compete at the highest levels.
Where He Races Today
In 2024, Arthur joined Scuderia Ferrari as a Development Driver, contributing to the team’s support from the Maranello simulator. Additionally, he is competing in the European Le Mans Series in the LMP2 class with the Panis Racing team alongside Charles Milesi and Manuel Maldonado. However, while the Monegasque is also engaged in racing in the Italian Gran Turismo championship with the Ferrari 296 GT3 of Scuderia Baldini 27 alongside Fisichella and Mosca, many fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to see Arthur race alongside his brother Charles in Formula 1. In January 2024, under the bright skies of Barcelona, Arthur experienced a magical moment: for the first time, he got behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car alongside his brother Charles, driving the Ferrari F1-75 brilliantly.
