Scuderia Ferrari were clearly focused on their opponents car launches as the Italian side’s team principal Mattia Binotto admitted they have already identified and replicated one “detail” which they have spotted on a rival’s car and considered it to be efficient.
The top teams have officially presented their challengers for the 2022 Formula One season in virtual mode due to the fact that the pandemic goes on. Most importantly, each team decided for different approaches about just how much of their all-new cars they would show to the world for now.
For example Red Bull decided to basically use the Formula 1 show car which last summer was used by the sport to preview the new regulation changes. Regardless, there was clearly something that had caught the attention of the Maranello team who was quick to implement it in the design of the F1-75 car.
“We will see if there are any interesting ideas we can adopt.” – Mattia Binotto said, as reported by F1-Insider – “On the F1-75, there is already a detail from a car that was presented in the past few days, and especially in this first phase we will all be watching each other very closely.” – he explained.

The first real chance for such observations will be the testing session at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, which takes place next week. However, this will be an unofficial test and most likely we will only see the real updates of the teams in Bahrain.
For now, unlike some of their rivals, Scuderia Ferrari decided to show the real thing at their online launch via Mattia Binotto and drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz – and the F1-75 has attracted widespread praise for its appearance, both in terms of construction and livery.
The Ferrari boss confirmed his team had been brave with their design of a car they hope can turn them into winners again for the first time since September 2019, when Sebastian Vettel won the Singapore Grand Prix. Since then, the Italian side has been looking for a new race victory:
“We have made different choices than others, maybe less conventional.I would call this car brave because it is the child of a team that has gone through difficult times in recent years but has always stayed united and tried to improve.” – Mattia Binotto concluded.
