Scuderia Ferrari also took a stand, after the initiative of Mercedes who transformed the Star on the front of the W13 into the rainbow color, following the actions launched by many others in the Formula 1 paddock starting with Sebastian Vettel, one of the most sensitive to such social issues together with Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton.
Scuderia Ferrari’s hashtag, #essereFerrari, is displayed with the colors of the rainbow, a sign that the Maranello team has chosen to show its support for the LGBTQ + community in Pride Month.
Throughout June, starting with today’s race, the #essereFerrari hashtag on the cars and drivers’ helmets will have the colors of the rainbow to celebrate this important moment and raise awareness of diversity and promote the inclusion of all kinds and sexual orientations.
Diversity and inclusion have long been part of the Ferrari ethics and the whole team is proud to support this initiative.
