The Monegasque’s off-track activities continue to grow. After becoming an investor in Chrono24, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc will now be the Global Brand Ambassador for Bang & Olufsen.
Bang & Olufsen is a Danish company that produces Hi-Fi audio hardware. It is a well-known brand in the music world, which we know is one of Charles’s great passions.
The company is already a sponsor of Scuderia Ferrari. Through its website and social channels, B&O revealed the Monegasque driver as its new testimonial.
“We are delighted to announce Charles Leclerc as our new Global Brand Ambassador, marking the beginning of an exciting collaboration,” reads the official statement – “Bang & Olufsen and Charles Leclerc will collaborate to promote meaningful conversations about sound, produce creative campaigns and events, and release a limited edition product.”
Thus, an audio device, probably a speaker or headphones, “signed” by the Ferrari driver will arrive on the market. This will be something entirely new for an F1 driver.
Charles Leclerc and his connection with sound
The Monegasque driver also made statements regarding his new role as ambassador for the Danish brand.
“My professional life is based on precision and performance, and sound plays an important role in this regard. The cars I drive are engineering marvels. The sounds they produce inform me of the decisions to make in a fraction of a second.” – the Ferrari man explained.
“This attention to sound has trained my ear to listen differently. Sound quality plays a fundamental role in my life. When I listen to music, I want sound clarity and tuning balance that reveal music in new ways and bring me closer to the artist. I have been a fan of Bang & Olufsen for many years. I use their products every day,” concluded Charles Leclerc. “The brand has a clarity and warmth in sound that help me disconnect from the racing world and take me to a place where I feel connected to the artist. That’s why the collaboration is so natural.”
Bang & Olufsen will not be the only brand for which Charles Leclerc is an ambassador. The Monegasque also has collaborations with APM Monaco and Richard Mille.
