Scuderia Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will play alongside names like Pavel Nedved, Andrea Pirlo, Gigi Buffon in a charity football match on Monday night at Juventus’ Allianz Stadium on May 25.
The match, known as the Partita del Cuore, will be held to raise money for cancer research and included two teams packed with star names and famous faces.
To challenge each other for humanitarian purposes in support of the Candiolo Institute – Piedmontese Foundation for cancer research onlus, chaired by Donna Allegra Agnelli, will be the National Italian Singers, led by Enrico Ruggeri, and the Champions for Research, led by Andrea Agnelli .
The event, led by Federica Panicucci, will be live from the Allianz Stadium in Turin. The commentary of the match will be entrusted to Pierluigi Pardo, while Giorgia Rossi, on the sidelines, will collect the comments of the players. In the stands some prestigious surprise guests will comment on the various phases of the match.
Among the Champions for Research, in addition to captain Andrea Agnelli, some well known names will take the field among others: John Elkann, Pavel Nedved , Andrea Pirlo, Gigi Buffon, the Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, the technical commissioner of the Italian men’s national cycling team Davide Cassani and many others.
The National Singer , led by Enrico Ruggeri, will field among others, Eros Ramazzotti, Ermal Meta, Briga, Alberto Urso, Bugo, Raoul Bova, the rappers Shade and Random, the former Inter player Maicon and many others, in a solidarity relay with many surprises.
