The difficulties between June and July, along with many points lost to a Max Verstappen who this year seems beatable, make the world title dream very complicated. Recently, Charles was interviewed on the podcast *The Race*, where he expressed confidence for 2025, and curiosity about sharing the garage with Lewis Hamilton. Charles Leclerc’s comments
Charles Leclerc, interviewed during the *The Race* podcast, stated: “In 2025 it will be possible to aim for the title. Obviously, it’s a constant, ever-evolving process, and the goal is to always improve. So I would say 2025 will be good, 2026 will be even better, and so will 2027. But it’s all relative: there is no team that gets worse from one year to the next. It depends on the growth of other teams. However, on our part, I have no doubt we will make a step forward.” – he pointed out.
Speaking then about his future teammate Lewis Hamilton, the Monegasque added: “He doesn’t seem to have any weaknesses. It will be interesting for me to learn from him, but I’m also motivated to show what I’m capable of with the same car.” – he pointed out.
The Ferrari driver concluded his comments by analyzing the 2024 Formula One season so far. These are his comments: “It’s been a really emotionally contrasting season. I achieved the two victories I’ve always dreamed of, namely Monaco and Monza. At the same time, though, we went through a period of experimental setups and a car that was very difficult to drive. Moreover, it’s been complicated to find the right direction again. I would be lying if I said I was always sure of our comeback. We are improving race by race, season by season. There are a lot of improvements. We just need time to turn them into updates on the car.” – the Ferrari driver concluded.
