The Belgian Grand Prix is one that Scuderia Ferrari will soon want to forget, but the question is whether that will be possible. In Italy, there is shame in the dramatic poor performance from the Italian team, who now turn their attention to the Grand Prix’s in their own country.
Ferrari managed to win at Spa-Francorchamps last year, but at the Belgian Grand Prix in 2020 it is striking how much Ferrari has fallen back since the FIA’s statement. The inevitability of Ferrari’s troubles reached a devastating low at Spa, with both cars finishing behind the customer-engined Alfa Romeo of Kimi Raikkonen.
But it is in moments like these that fans have to stick by the team. And Ferrari insists the support is needed now more than ever: “Not a good weekend but we will keep not stop fighting. It’s not the first time in our history that we’ve struggled, but we have always come through. In moments like this we need our fans more than ever. Thanks to all of you who are sticking by our side.” – Ferrari posted on social media the day after the disappointing outcome of the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa.
