Ferrari shares a special bond with Spa-Francorchamps, one of the most historic and iconic circuits in Formula 1. Over the years, the Prancing Horse has claimed 14 victories at the Belgian venue, making Ferrari the most successful team in the track’s history. Yet no success carries greater significance than the one achieved in 2004, when Michael Schumacher secured his seventh—and final—Formula 1 World Championship.
The German legend, known as the “Kaiser,” did not win the Belgian Grand Prix that day. Victory went to Kimi Räikkönen, who crossed the finish line first, while Michael Schumacher finished in second place. However, the points earned in Belgium, combined with those he had accumulated earlier in the season, were enough to mathematically secure the world championship.
Michael Schumacher’s remarkable record of six victories at Spa-Francorchamps still stands today, making him the most successful driver ever at the legendary Belgian circuit. His achievements have become an inseparable part of both Formula 1 history and Ferrari’s rich legacy.
Years pass, eras change, new champions emerge and new periods of dominance begin, but some moments remain timeless.
They stay forever in the hearts of Ferrari fans, carrying the hope that one day those unforgettable celebrations will once again return to the Scuderia garage and to the Tifosi around the world.
