The car presentation of the car new regulatory era of Formula 1, which will start in 2022, gave us the idea of a unique single-seater concept, with a similar design for all competing teams. However, this will not be the case, since there will be several customizable aspects, which will make the cars recognizable and different from each other. For example, the front wing shown yesterday at Silverstone in the two models differed in shape and length of the nose.
To discourage the search for gray areas of the regulation, Ross Brawn – head of the sports area of the category – has announced that he has no intention of compromising and revising the rules already discussed at length with the Formula 1 teams.
Scuderia Ferrari Spanish driver Carlos Sainz, after seeing the model shown to the public by Formula 1, gave us a small preview of the Ferrari 2022 F1 car: “I find the prototype beautiful and aggressive, especially at the rear and in the area of the front wheels. I honestly don’t like the front wing very much, but we will see different solutions. I won’t say what our Ferrari will be like, but it will be different” – the Spaniard observed. “In general it seems to me a simpler car and in theory it will be easier to follow the car in front. If they help improve the show, they will be welcome” – Carlos Sainz told the journalists present in the Silverstone paddock.
