Despite being one of the smallest tracks on the calendar, the Red Bull Ring has been home to some great, fast pace racing across all avenues of motorsport in the past few years. Only spanning 2.6 miles in total, the lap record around the track is 1:05.619, set by Carlos Sainz in 2020, making it one of the quickest lap times on the calendar.
After the encouraging race pace shown by Scuderia Ferrari in the first race at the Red Bull Ring this season, the Maranello team will not attempt to further improve it’s performance and reduce the gap to McLaren in the 2021 Constructor Standings.
Join us later today for the latest news, info, updates, results and Watchalong from the Red Bull Ring circuit, as the 2021 Austrian Grand Prix is about to get underway, with Scuderia Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc once again at the wheel of the SF21, ready to score as many points as possible in the eight round of the 2021 Formula 1 season.
