Formula 1 returns to the track in Monte Carlo for the second free practice session: follow our live commentary of FP2 at the Monaco GP. Last year, Ferrari stood on the podium: Charles Leclerc claimed victory and Carlos Sainz secured third place. This year, the situation is far more dire. The Scuderia is not the favorite in Monaco, and for now McLaren remains the car to beat.
Keep an eye on Max Verstappen, coming off a win in Imola: his Red Bull is strong over a single lap and could take pole position. Qualifying is shaping up to be very interesting, but for now, we focus on the second free practice session to get an idea of the race pace of each team.
FP2 at the Monaco GP is scheduled to begin live at 17:00 Central European Summer Time. Our website’s live coverage of the session will start around 16:55.
