F1 | Lewis Hamilton welcomes 2026 and opens up in a heartfelt message to Ferrari fans. Lewis Hamilton looks ahead to the 2026 Formula 1 season with Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari 2025 F1

Lewis Hamilton welcomes the arrival of 2026 and prepares to take to the track with Ferrari: “Time to change, find peace and grow.”

While waiting to return to the track with Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton chose social media to share a deep and personal message to mark his entry into 2026, published on the very day of his birthday. In an Instagram post, the seven-time world champion described a period of pause, reflection and recharging after a long and mentally demanding season.

The British driver spoke openly about stepping away from the fast-paced world of Formula 1, underlining how important it was for him to regain balance, take time for himself and reconnect with the people closest to him before facing a new phase of his career.

“Another return. I am incredibly grateful for this break. It’s time to disconnect, recharge and find some inner peace again. The time spent with family and friends, filled with rest and plenty of laughter, was everything I needed after a very draining year.”

Lewis Hamilton, pause and rebirth ahead of Ferrari’s 2026 debut: “One step at a time”

“In a world that moves so fast, where we are constantly pulled in a thousand different directions, truly being able to disconnect was the best feeling I could have experienced.”

Lewis Hamilton then linked his message to a personal symbolism, referring to the transition from the Year of the Snake to the Year of the Horse as a metaphor for renewal and transformation. “I’m aware that we are entering the Year of the Horse and leaving the Year of the Snake behind. The time for change is now. Starting new routines, letting go of unwanted patterns and working on growth.”

“Let go of the things that no longer serve you. It can take time, and there will be things you won’t be able to release right away, but everything starts with the first step.”

In the final part of the post, the seven-time world champion wanted to address his fans directly, thanking them for their support and reinforcing a message of human closeness and shared strength. “Even if the world can feel like chaos, I hope you’re staying focused on living life to the fullest. Be yourselves and never forget who you are. I learned this from so many of you who reminded me of it in 2025, and I will never forget it.”

“Your support means everything to me, and I am here for you too. You are never alone. Let’s live it one day at a time, one step at a time.” A message that goes far beyond Formula 1, portraying a reflective Lewis Hamilton who appears ready to face the future with renewed awareness, as he waits to return to the track once again.

As Lewis Hamilton celebrates his 41st birthday at the dawn of 2026, his message to the Tifosi and his global fans signals a deep mental reset after a challenging first year in Maranello. By embracing the symbolism of the “Year of the Horse” and focusing on personal growth, the seven-time world champion is positioning himself for a spiritual and professional rebirth as he seeks to return Ferrari to the summit of Formula 1.
