F1, GP Germania: la Ferrari ha buttato una buona opportunità?. Sebastian con le slick risulta avere il miglior ritmo.

Verstappen vince a Hockenheim premiato dalla sua costanza di rendimento nonostante una brutta partenza. Il fine settimana della Rossa viene salvato da Sebastian Vettel che nel fine gara con le slick risulta avere il miglior ritmo, complice anche l’ottima strategia del muretto Ferrari. Weekend da dimenticare in casa Mercedes con tanti errori dei piloti e tattiche sbagliate.

E’ stato un Gran Premio piuttosto caotico con tantissime Safety Car e VSC che sono state fondamentali per l’esito finale della gara. Verstappen è stato il più costante ed è riuscito ad approfittare dalla giornata no del duo Mercedes. Vettel, autore di una fantastica rimonta ha terminato al secondo posto, precedendo il sorprendente Kvyat con Toro Rosso. Quarta piazza per Lance Stroll che ha azzeccato le gomme slick nel momento giusto e questo lo ha fatto risalire dalla penultima posizione. Nonostante alcuni errori commessi nella parte iniziale di gara è riuscito a precedere la McLaren di Sainz e l’altra Toro Rosso di Albon. Ottima gara anche per le due Alfa Romeo che hanno chiuso al settimo con Raikkonen e all’ottavo con Giovinazzi ma, successivamente, sono state retrocesse fuori dai punti per una violazione del regolamento sportivo.

La Ferrari ha buttato una buona opportunità?
Il fine settimana della Rossa è stato salvato da Sebastian Vettel che, partito dall’ultima posizione, è stato in grado di rimontare fino al secondo posto. La gara del pilota tedesco, nonostante l’ottima strategia del team italiano, è stata piuttosto difficile con la pista scivolosa ma, nella parte conclusiva, con asfalto asciutto ha dimostrato quanto fosse veloce la SF90. Grazie anche all’utilizzo della mappatura motore più spinta “K1 Plus” è riuscito a scavalcare piuttosto agevolmente Sainz, Stroll e Kvyat ottenendo un risultato che, alla vigilia, era piuttosto difficile da immaginare. Sicuramente la gara caotica con tante Safety Car ha aiutato la rimonta ma quello che deve far ben sperare tutti gli uomini di Maranello è la prestazione che la SF90 ha offerto per tutto il week end. L’errore di Charles Leclerc, in condizioni molto difficili, ci può stare ma il pilota monegasco ha sprecato sicuramente un’ottima occasione visto la velocità che aveva la SF90. Anche il giovane Charles ha faticato ad inizio gara con le gomme intermedie a tenere il passo delle Mercedes e di Verstappen ma, il muretto di Maranello, è stato bravo a sfruttare le occasioni giuste per effettuare i pit e questo gli ha permesso di rimanere sempre piuttosto vicino ai piloti di testa. Sicuramente, senza l’errore, si sarebbe giocato la vittoria con Verstappen e vista la velocità di Vettel con pista asciutta le chance di regalare la prima vittoria al Team Italiano sarebbero state piuttosto alte.
