Since the announcement of Ferrari’s new look for the Florida weekend, the web has been flooded with concepts and speculation about the new outfit of the Prancing Horse for the upcoming GP. Just days before the Miami weekend, Ferrari unveiled the new livery through its social media channels, although for now it’s only a leak.
Already last year the Prancing Horse decided to tweak its look for the American race. For the 2024 event, the Maranello car wore its usual red suit, decorated with light blue accents. The Italian team chose the shades Dino blue and La Plata blue with the intention of paying tribute to two colors that have meant a lot for Ferrari’s overseas market. In last year’s Florida round, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz also took to the cockpit in an unusual light blue race suit.
This year too, Ferrari has chosen to bring a dedicated livery to Miami. In the days following the Jeddah Grand Prix, Frédéric Vasseur’s team had already revealed the new Prancing Horse merchandise for the upcoming race. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, the flag bearers of the Modena-based team, will walk through the paddock wearing white outfits with red accents. The white, which features prominently in the new Miami shirts, led many Ferrari fans to imagine a revolutionary new SF-25 livery.
