The new Ferrari single-seater for the 2023 Formula One season will be unveiled on February 14th: here’s how to follow the presentation of the SF-23 live. The event, which will be held in Maranello, will be broadcast live and you can watch every second of the big SF23 reveal on the ScuderiaFans.com site at this link. The event gets under way at 11:25 local time (1025 UK, 0525 Eastern Time in the US and 0225 PST).
It will be a very important season for the Maranello team after the progress made last year. The departure of Mattia Binotto, and the consequent arrival of Frederic Vasseur as the new Team Principal, undoubtedly brought a boost of confidence but also mixed with a climate of uncertainty within the Italian side. Following the resignation of the Italian engineer, Ferrari has in fact also lost what was one of the main figures of the design of the new car with which Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will take to the track in hope of fighting for the 2023 Formula 1 world title.
According to the latest rumors, the new SF23 should have a chassis lightened by about a couple of kilos and this could lead to an advantage of about a tenth of a second. Furthermore, according to Frederic Vasseur’s words, there should no longer be a power unit reliability problem.
In 2022, in fact, the Ferrari Power Unit appeared very fragile in this respect with the technical failures in Barcelona and Baku above all which prevented Charles Leclerc from extending his lead in the standings over Max Verstappen in the early stages of the 2022 Formula 1 season. “Everything seems to be ok for now,” confirmed the new Team Principal a few days ago. “Last year the performance was there but precarious reliability did not allow us to exploit all the potential available. We are working a lot on this aspect“.

The vibes coming out of Maranello have been strong that this challenger could be the one to really fight for a first Constructors’ title in 15 years and a first Drivers’ title in 16, as Kimi Raikkonen remains the last driver to win the championship for Scuderia Ferrari.
