The Maranello-based team will officially unveil the new car on Friday 23 January, a date that Ferrari fans have long marked on their calendars. Not only because it will reveal the livery of the car designed under the technical direction of Loïc Serra, but also because it will finally allow fans to see the two Prancing Horse drivers in action.
What time will Ferrari present the SF-26?
To secure a good spot, fans will need to arrive at Fiorano from the very first light of dawn. Some will undoubtedly brave the cold and even spend the night outside the Ferrari circuit in order to get a front-row view of the event.
According to the information gathered, the presentation of the SF-26 is expected to take place during the morning of Friday 23 January. Immediately afterwards, the long-awaited shakedown will begin and should run until around 14:00 Italian time, with both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton scheduled to drive the car.
It is important to underline that this will be a celebratory occasion, with no specific data-gathering objectives. Ferrari’s engineers will use the Friday session mainly to carry out final checks on the correct functioning of the car. The team will then move on to Barcelona, where the SF-26 will take part in the closed-door pre-season tests.
