As we had previewed a few days ago, Ferrari has chosen to commemorate the Monza GP with a special livery. The Scuderia has thus released on its social channels the race suits that Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will wear during the 2023 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix. The reference is to the Maranello team’s historic colors, with yellow and black making a return on the drivers’ suits. “At Monza with the historic racing DNA,” Ferrari writes on social media. But that’s not all.
The colors worn by the two Ferrari drivers are also a tribute to the endurance team’s achievement, triumphing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 50 years after its last appearance.
In the video shared on the team’s social media, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc are seen looking at a special t-shirt, which echoes the colors already seen on the suits. Indeed, it’s a special edition that the Scuderia has prepared for Monza and will soon be available for purchase by fans. The video also reveals an exclusive cap on Carlos Sainz‘s head.
But it doesn’t end here. In the post, a message for the fans of the team reads: “Fans, more surprises to come…”.
SF-23 with a livery to pay homage to the Ferrari 499P:
After the race suits and merchandising, of course, curiosity grows about the livery of the car that will race in Monza. Rumors suggest, once again, a tribute to the victorious 499P at Le Mans. Soon, we’ll also know what the design of the limited edition t-shirt that the team has prepared for the Italian event will be. We’ll see…
