Ferrari has published the first photo of Frederic Vasseur at the Maranello headquarters. The new team principal began his activity at the Gestione Sportiva today, dealing with the top management of the Scuderia in preliminary meetings together with French engineer working as assistant team principal and race director, Laurent Mekies.
A long walk through the offices of the Ferrari Racing Division to get familiar with the new work environment in which he will operate and begin to focus how to improve processes and create the ideal working environment for key people. Less than six weeks before the presentation of the 2023 single-seater and eight from the first testing session on the track, the activity in Maranello is punctuated by a tour de force, as is the tradition at the beginning of the year.
The first important appointment for Fred Vasseur is scheduled for tomorrow, when he will speak to the team for the first time, an opportunity to make contact with all the members of the Scuderia and probably to illustrate the first guidelines for his management.
It is difficult to hypothesize changes in one of the moments of maximum activity in the Maranello headquarters. It is more likely instead that the next few weeks for Frederic Vasseur will represent a period of observation and study that will prepare the team towards Bahrain.

On the other hand, potential innovations regarding the management of race weekends cannot be excluded, especially in terms of roles and communication procedures which proved to be a weak point during the last season.
On this front, there could be changes in a relatively short time, sufficient to guarantee operations in view of the first round of the 2023 Formula One season.
