As reported by Editor in chief of Motorsport.com Italy Franco Nugnes, based on the images taken by F1 Journalist Giorgio Piola in Monaco earlier today, Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari F1-75 car that is in the Monte Carlo pits is configured with the old aerodynamic package: the floor is the one used up to the Miami Grand Prix with a sidewalk characterized by the long longitudinal knife in front of the rear wheel, while in the front it is easily recognizable because of the first flow separator which is no longer taller and narrower, but has returned to being the lower one.
It is conceivable that the Maranello team has decided to carry out comparative tests in tomorrow’s free practice sessions on the streets of Monte Carlo before deliberating what configuration to use on both F1-75 cars for the rest of the weekend, as Scuderia Ferrari seeks immediate redemption after the retirement of Charles Leclerc while he was firmly in command of the Spanish Grand Prix last weekend, due to the failure of the MGU-H which has also created some problems with the turbocharger.
