Trackside Guide to the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort
After more than three decades away from Formula 1, the Dutch Grand Prix returned to Circuit Zandvoort in 2021. The seaside venue quickly became a fan-favorite, but its time on the calendar will be brief, with the race confirmed to drop off the F1 schedule after 2026. Zandvoort is a historic track that has undergone significant upgrades to host F1, yet its compact layout and unique location among the protected sand dunes mean space is limited. This can lead to bottlenecks during peak crowd movements, though organizers have managed this with an excellent transport plan. Fans are encouraged to cycle or use public transport, while road traffic around the circuit is restricted. Despite the challenges, the Dutch Grand Prix is recognized as one of the best-run events on the calendar. The only real downside? The coastal weather can be unpredictable, so fans should be ready for rain, wind, and chilly conditions.
