Formula 1 has officially confirmed a new and special partnership with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur: the two parties have signed a 15-year agreement to create new go-karting facilities at the football team’s London home.
The plan is described as London’s “longest indoor track” and the “world’s first in-stadium electric karting track”. The deadline for the inauguration is August 2023 at the new stadium, which opened in three years ago. At the same time, a new driver academy will also be launched with the goal of helping children build a career and finding new talent.
The 62,850 seater venue has also hosted NFL games, concerts, rugby, and boxing in addition to Tottenham fixtures including in the UEFA Champions League, and Europa Conference League.

The partnership, that will continue for the next 15 years, will see the facilities for karting built under the South Stand, which is the the ‘home end’ of the ground – and the goal-end to the right when you viewed from the dugouts and traditional TV camera position.
The track will be accredited by the National Karting Association, which means it will be able to host national karting championship events.
