F1 | The new game that will drive Formula 1 fans crazy
The world-famous card game UNO is getting a full makeover with a new official Formula 1 edition, set to win over both fans and collectors. Formula 1 continues to expand its commercial universe, and this time it does so with a product that promises to become a must-have for enthusiasts. Thanks to an official collaboration between F1 and Mattel, UNO has been completely reinvented, combining two global communities into a single new gaming experience.
The special release is called UNO Elite Formula 1 Edition, created to blend the competitive spirit of the racetrack with the familiar challenge between players around the table. It represents another step that strengthens the connection between F1 supporters and the entertainment world.
Formula 1’s Chief Commercial Officer, Emily Prazer, introduced the project with enthusiasm. She stated, “UNO is one of the most loved games in the world. It brings people together and carries a special kind of energy. This new edition marks another important collaboration between F1 and Mattel. We want to be present for our fans in new and innovative spaces. I can’t wait for players to bring the competitiveness, drama, and emotions of Formula 1 into this iconic game.”
Mattel expressed similar excitement regarding the partnership. Katie Buford, Vice President and Global Head of Games, explained that “this collaboration brings the adrenaline of motorsport into the world of tabletop games. The UNO and Formula 1 communities are incredibly passionate. This partnership allows both worlds to welcome new fans.”
The product already has a release schedule. Early copies are available for pre-order on Amazon, with deliveries expected by mid-December, while worldwide distribution will begin in 2026. This marks the second partnership between Mattel and Formula 1 for 2025, following the launch of the Hot Wheels series inspired by the championship’s single-seaters.
With this collaboration, Formula 1 continues to strengthen its presence in mainstream entertainment. Through this new UNO edition, the sport aims to turn the thrill of racing into a unique gaming experience—one capable of engaging even those who do not usually follow Formula 1.
