Four races in five weeks, five if we also consider the Sprint scheduled for Saturday 9 July at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. In total, there are 112 points to be fought for during the month of July and Scuderia Ferrari must reverse the negative trend that mainly affected Charles Leclerc from Barcelona to Montreal passing through Monaco and Baku, which has given rivals Red Bull a consistent advantage in the world championship, ahead of the British Grand Prix.
In Canada, the Maranello team decided to stock up on the components of the power unit for the Monegasque driver, who therefore started from the back of the grid in the Montreal race, climbing up to fifth position, but recovering mainly in terms of engine parts for the next part of the championship, in the hope of also being able to recover in the standings, after the DNFs suffered in Spain and Azerbaijan. At the circuit named after Gilles Villeneuve, Charles Leclerc has already accumulated valuable data regarding the new rear wing which is prepared for Silverstone.
The British track is reminiscent of Barcelona in the first two sectors and in Spain the F1-75 was clearly the fastest car on the track in both Qualifying and Race pace until Charles Leclerc had to surrender due to the failure of the power unit’s turbo and MGU-H components. Christian Horner and Mattia Binotto have already begun immediately after the Canadian Grand Prix the pre-tactic battle on the substance and quantity of updates in store for the two teams at Silverstone.
Scuderia Ferrari will certainly mount the new rear wing on both F1-75 cars after it made its debut in Canada and gave Charles Leclerc some extra power in terms of top speed at the circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Silverstone is the most convincing test bench for tires and sudden failures have already been seen in the past with Lewis Hamilton who in 2020 even crossed the finish line on three wheels. Last week Ferrari also completed a test at the Mugello circuit with the tyres that Pirelli is developing for the 2023 Formula One season. According to today’s edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport, the Maranello team took to the track with the new rear wing “but without being able to touch the car as the rules state for these special Pirelli testing sessions.” – the sports newspaper based in Rome informed.
