F1 25 has received another major 2026 update, with EA Sports and Codemasters expanding the Season Pack 2026 through patch 1.25. The update introduces the complete 2026 Formula 2 championship, including the latest cars and driver line-ups, while also adding seven special liveries at no additional cost.
The patch goes beyond Formula 2, with several changes designed to bring the official Formula 1 game closer to the real 2026 season. Cars, sponsors and a range of visual details have been updated, while the behaviour of the new-generation F1 machinery has also been revised.
F1 25 update 1.25 adds the complete 2026 Formula 2 season
One of the biggest additions is the full 2026 Formula 2 championship. Players can now access updated F2 cars and drivers as part of the Season Pack, significantly expanding the amount of current-season content available in F1 25.
The Formula 1 side of the game has also received further attention. Codemasters has updated the appearance of several cars and sponsor elements to better reflect the real championship, including distinctive details seen on the Ferrari. Among them is the unusual Ferrari rear wing that has been nicknamed the “Macarena”, another detail intended to make the virtual cars more closely resemble their real-world counterparts. Ferrari fans can also follow ScuderiaFans’ coverage of the team’s 2026 technical project and Formula 1 car development.

Update 1.25 also introduces seven special liveries, all distributed free of charge through the in-game mailbox. The collection covers several teams and Grands Prix from the 2026 season.
- Racing Bulls – Suzuka

The liveries give players access to a wider range of event-specific designs without requiring an additional purchase.
2026 car behaviour updated with boost, Straight Mode and DRS changes
The patch also modifies the driving behaviour of the 2026 Formula 1 cars. Adjustments have been made to boost deployment, Straight Mode and DRS, bringing another layer of refinement to how the latest generation of cars performs in the game.
Alongside the handling changes, update 1.25 includes a series of fixes covering Career mode, circuits and the user interface. These changes are intended to address smaller issues across several areas of F1 25 rather than focusing exclusively on new content.
F1 25 improves steering wheel and simulator hardware support
Simulator users also receive several improvements. Support has been refined for a number of steering wheels, while specific problems affecting Moza and Simucube hardware have been resolved.
Compatibility with Simagic equipment has also been expanded, further broadening the range of simulator hardware supported by the game.
Overall, update 1.25 is a substantial addition to F1 25, bringing the game closer to the 2026 Formula 1 season while adding the complete Formula 2 championship, seven free special liveries and a range of gameplay, interface and simulator improvements without extra cost to players.
