The 2025 Formula 1 season concludes with the FIA awards ceremony, honoring the top drivers across all categories. Here is everything you need to know to follow the 2025 edition live.
When and where will the 2025 FIA awards ceremony take place?
After stops in Bologna, Baku, and Kigali in Rwanda, the official FIA awards ceremony continues to move further away from Europe. For the 2025 edition, the event will take place in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and will be broadcast tomorrow, Friday, December 12. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 19:00 Italian time, which will be 23:00 local time in Tashkent.
Where can the live broadcast be followed?
Sky Sport will not air the event live. Fans can follow the ceremony exclusively via live streaming on the official FIA YouTube channel.
Who will be awarded?
During the event, Lando Norris will be honored as the 35th driver to become World Champion in Formula 1, the pinnacle of four-wheel motorsport. Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri will also feature, having been in a title battle with Norris right up to the final Grand Prix of the season.
Beyond Formula 1, the FIA will recognize champions from all the series it organizes. This includes Formula 2 and Formula 3, the World Endurance Championship (WEC), Formula E, and extends to Rally and Karting. The ceremony also features special awards, such as the Action of the Year trophy for the best overtake of the season, the Rookie of the Year award for the top debutant, and the FIA President’s Awards, which celebrate excellence, creativity, and positive impact within FIA member clubs worldwide.
As the curtains close on 2025, the Tashkent gala is the perfect send-off – a night of glamour, gratitude and a sneak peek at what’s next. Don’t miss it: Norris lifting that trophy for the first time will be etched in F1 history.
