Max Verstappen recently said that six days of testing would have been boring, thus not disdaining the three days awaiting F1 teams and drivers from Friday 12 March until Sunday 14. The theater will be different from the traditional winter test venue of F1. We will not stop in Barcelona, but in Bahrain at the Sakhir circuit, the track that will also host the first race of the 2021 Formula 1 season on Sunday 28 March.
Track activity will start early in the morning at 08:00 (Central European Time) when in Bahrain it will be 10.00. At that time the traffic light at the end of the pit lane will turn green and the drivers will be able to start descending on track which will remain available until 17:00, 19:00 local time. According to the F1 website there is no lunch break, the teams will decide how to manage the three days of testing and how to alternate the drivers driving the cars.
