You see them on every Formula One circuit, kerbstones! The normally red/white bumps must make sure that the drivers stay on the race track. Primarily for the safety of the drivers themselves, but in addition to that, to ensure that they are not able to cut corners and therefore maybe gain some unfair advantage in terms of lap time.
