Pirelli, Luca Colajanni joins the company
Luca Colajanni has been appointed new Motorsport Media Relations Advisor of Pirelli. The former Ferrari spokesman will therefore work for the communications and brand image department if the Italian company. This was reported by the official Formula One tyre supplier yesterday with a statement released in the afternoon.

“Luca Colajanni has been appointed as Motorsport Media Relations Advisor within Pirelli’s communications and brand image department. Colajanni is an experienced professional in the field of sports communications and motorsport communications in particular. Among the main milestones of his career, which began as press officer for the Italia ’90 football World Cup, are top positions at Scuderia Ferrari, in which he held a number of roles including Head of Communications and External Relations, and at Formula One Management as Head of the Motorsport Press Office.” – Pirelli confirmed in the official statement posted on its website yesterday.
A past with Ferrari
Luca Colajanni has a long history at Ferrari. Among other things, he was the former spokesman for the Maranello team, a role he held from 2002 to 2013. In 2020 he returned to Maranello after a stint with Liberty Media, to hold the position of director of communication and external relations. Luca Colajanni himself announced his second departure from Ferrari in a letter dated February 2022.
