
Let’s take a look at all the driver fines and penalties so far in 2022 Formula 1 season, ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa.
Thanks to the data gathered by Casumo and taken from the FIA’s penalty documents, we find out that Aston Martin driver Sebastian Vettel has accrued the most in penalty fines so far this season, ahead of the Belgian grand Prix. The former Ferrari driver has racked up a full €35,900 in penalties, for issues ranging from speeding in the pit lane to an unsafe release. Following the German on the list is Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, who has amassed fines of €25,000 so far this season, ahead of Sergio Perez with €10,600. Next on the list is a group of five drivers who have had to pay a bill of €10,000, including Lewis Hamilton, Daniel Ricciardo, Zhou Guanyu, Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen.
