In the aftermath of Juventus’ heavy defeat against AC Milan, Cristiano Ronaldo was not present in the morning to resume training for the black and white team, in view of the match against Sassuolo on Wednesday evening. The mystery about the absence of the Portuguese champion was soon explained: he arrived in Maranello by helicopter, in the company of Juventus president Andrea Agnelli and that of Ferrari, John Elkann. He was welcomed by team principal Mattia Binotto and a representative of the Formula 1 team. Ronaldo gave his autographed jersey to the drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz and posed with them for a souvenir photo, before dedicating himself to visiting all the production lines.
But that of Cristiano Ronaldo was not only a scheduled courtesy visit, it also proved to be an opportunity to add a custom-built car to his collection, the Ferrari Monza SP2 , a splendid car produced by Maranello in only 499 elements, with a cost of 1, 6 million (already in the possession of Zlatan Ibrahimovic – another football star -, Max Verstappen and chef Gordon Ramsey, among others).
Driving the Ferrari Monza SP2 is a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine capable of delivering 799 hp and 791 Nm of maximum torque at 7000 rpm. The maximum speed is 300 km / h while the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is done in just 2.9 seconds.
