Carlos Sainz finished third in the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and was therefore fifth in the World Championship standings at the end of his first season with the Maranello team. Charles was 10th in the race at the Yas Marina circuit, dropping to seventh in the standings. Scuderia Ferrari is third in the Constructors’ Championship.
