Scuderia Ferrari are ready to start their 2023 Formula 1 season by officially presenting their new challenger, the SF-23 car.
As we get closer to the start of the special event in Maranello, the Scuderia and drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will unveil their challenger with the clear goal of bouncing back from mixed fortunes in the previous championship. The Ferrari car reveal is scheduled to take place at their Maranello base at 10:25 GMT. This will be 11:25 CET. You can watch the live event here.
In the meantime, Italian journalist and Formula 1 expert Gianluca D’Alessandro confirmed that the SF-23 single-seater will have the iconic Ferrari lettering on the rear wing like we saw last year in the Italian Grand Prix, when the Maranello team used a special livery with yellow on the fin, rear wing, and front wing – along with highlights on the race numbers.
“In about two and a half hours the new Ferrari SF-23 will be presented in Maranello. The key word is evolution. There will be more carbon black, particularly on the sides of the nose/where the chassis starts, sidepods and on the fin. Confirmed the Ferrari lettering on the rear wing as in Monza” – Gianluca D’Alessandro posted on his Twitter account ahead of the official SF-23 car launch which takes place today in Maranello.
