Ferrari, physical problems for Hamilton? “Seen by a doctor”: the sensational rumor
The 2025 Formula One season is now in full swing and, after the first five races, it is providing various topics for discussion, both from the clear and sometimes surprising verdicts on track and from matters outside the asphalt. Despite everything, however, the current season seems destined, whether one likes it or not, to have a storyline that will dominate until the final round next December in Abu Dhabi.
Besides McLaren’s dominance and the world title fight currently limited to the papaya drivers, much of the spotlight is on Lewis Hamilton’s adventure with Ferrari: the sensational move that, last year, united the most successful driver and team ever, with the common goal of returning to victory and becoming even more legendary together. A union that, after years of speculation, fulfilled the dreams of both the fans and the British driver, who has always been fascinated by the Scuderia.
All good, in theory… At least so far, however, the performances of the seven-time world champion (excluding the flash in the Chinese Sprint Race) have been far worse than expected: it is no exaggeration to define Hamilton’s 2025 start as a nightmare. After arriving in Italy with the ambition of helping the team return to success and consistently fight at the top, Sir Lewis is struggling to adapt his driving style to the SF-25, systematically suffering significant and sometimes worrying gaps, which are unflattering for his reputation, compared to his teammate Charles Leclerc, often appearing downcast, almost resigned. In short, the Briton is going through a rough patch which, according to what was reported on the Spanish podcast “Dura la vita” by journalist Josep Lluis Merlos, could also be due to physical problems the former Mercedes driver is facing.
Sightings in Barcelona The journalist admitted that, recently, Sir Lewis has been seen several times in the Spanish city, allegedly visiting a doctor (whose name and field of expertise were not specified) for an undisclosed issue. Obviously, we are merely reporting this rumor without making any assumptions or theories, since various speculations have already emerged, from the most absurd to more credible ones, such as a possible consultation with Dr. Mir, a specialist in traumatology for MotoGP riders.
“Recently, Lewis Hamilton has been in Barcelona several times, incognito, to visit a famous doctor. I don’t know if he might have some kind of problem, I hope not, but I repeat: he has been to Barcelona several times to deal with something that cannot be talked about.”
