From Lando Norris to Ferrari, Christian Horner has analyzed the form of Red Bull’s rivals, highlighting an important strength of the team.
In particular, it seems to be the English driver who concerns Christian Horner the most. Even in Spain, the papaya team seemed to have the best package available. However, a poor start by Norris and an imperfect strategy prevented them from securing their second win of the season.
Naturally, Red Bull took advantage of the situation and secured yet another victory with Verstappen—7 wins out of 10 races. However, as the Dutchman noted after the race, their rivals are now closer.

Speaking to Sky UK after the race, Christian Horner provided a brief overview of the situation with McLaren, especially with Norris, Ferrari, and Mercedes.
“I think it’s a close race between us; the gaps are very small. Max and Lando had an 18-second advantage over the rest of the group.” – he explained.
“In the end, we managed to win, but from Miami onwards, it’s probably Lando who is the benchmark. To win, we need to be at the top of our form. It’s a tight competition, but for now, we keep winning.”
“McLaren is doing an excellent job. Ferrari is not far behind, and Mercedes is improving. However, we continue to stay ahead.” – the Red Bull team principal pointed out after the Spanish Grand Prix.
“We have won a lot, but we haven’t lost the ability to deliver results in the most important moments and not make mistakes on race day. We have enormous strength in the depth of the team and great stability.” – Christian Horner concluded.
