Christian Horner analyzes Red Bull rivals: “Lando Norris the benchmark, Ferrari not far behind”

Speaking to Sky UK after the race, Christian Horner provided a brief overview of the situation with McLaren, especially with Norris, Ferrari, and Mercedes.

“I think it’s a close race between us; the gaps are very small. Max and Lando had an 18-second advantage over the rest of the group.” – he explained.

“In the end, we managed to win, but from Miami onwards, it’s probably Lando who is the benchmark. To win, we need to be at the top of our form. It’s a tight competition, but for now, we keep winning.”

“McLaren is doing an excellent job. Ferrari is not far behind, and Mercedes is improving. However, we continue to stay ahead.” – the Red Bull team principal pointed out after the Spanish Grand Prix.

“We have won a lot, but we haven’t lost the ability to deliver results in the most important moments and not make mistakes on race day. We have enormous strength in the depth of the team and great stability.” – Christian Horner concluded.
