A particular report has emerged suggesting that Ferrari imposed a sort of ‘silence’ during the press conference for the launch of Charles Leclerc’s new CL16 merchandise. Here’s what reportedly happened.
Just a few days ago, Charles Leclerc launched his first clothing brand, allowing fans to purchase his official merchandise. However, during the presentation of CL16, Ferrari appears to have enforced a strict “silence” to avoid further controversies.
Charles Leclerc has been passionate about music since childhood, particularly piano. Over the past few seasons, he has released several musical pieces, some in collaboration with the well-known French pianist Sofiane Pamart. Another of the Monegasque driver’s passions is ice cream. For the past two years, he has partnered with Federico Grom to launch ‘LEC’, a chain that is steadily expanding globally. Fashion is yet another area of interest for Ferrari’s #16 driver.
On November 13, a new social media page called CL16 appeared, linking directly to Charles Leclerc’s official store. The shop was officially launched on Friday, November 14, at 6 PM Central European Time. This marks the start of a new chapter for the Ferrari driver. However, it seems that the Scuderia imposed certain conditions during the product launch press conference.
Ferrari blocks journalists from asking questions during the event
According to the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, the press was not allowed to ask questions to Charles Leclerc or his fiancée, Alexandra Saint-Mleux. Journalists who tried to ask questions were reportedly required to leave the event, effectively being removed. If true, this decision highlights the tense atmosphere within the Italian team following the strong words from John Elkann.
On social media, Ferrari appears to be sharing photos and videos of Lewis Hamilton at the factory, along with posts from both drivers that seemed like a response to the team president’s criticism. Everyone defended the two Ferrari drivers, placing the blame on the President. As expected, the Scuderia will need to remain united to avoid jeopardizing their 2026 Formula 1 championship campaign.
