Here we only have a few laps to try the qualifying lap and gain confidence. You can always do better, but this track is quite absurd. Today we didn’t have much more; it wasn’t a good day.” These were the quite disappointed words of Ferrari’s number 16 at the end of the qualifying session for the Spanish Grand Prix earlier today in Barcelona.

“With the rain, you never know what can happen; third place could be possible, but I see the first or second position as practically impossible for tomorrow. We gave it our all, but having seen the race pace, I think finishing ahead of everyone will not be feasible,” concluded the Monegasque.
