At the end of the qualifying session in Zandvoort, Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc took fifth position which did not leave him completely satisfied. The young Ferrari driver has in fact complained about the 49 thousandths that separated him from the second row, which will be occupied by Pierre Gasly of the Alpha Tauri and ahead of the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix he assured that he will do everything possible to recover a few positions by aiming to a have a great race start on Sunday.
Charles Leclerc then reiterated the concept, clearly launching the message that he will try to get the most out of the first corners after the traffic lights go out later today: “I think overtaking will be really difficult”, explained the 23-year-old from Monte Carlo, associating himself with those who compare Zandvoort to the streets of Monaco or the Hungaroring circuit in terms of difficulty of passing, specifying: “First of all we need a really good start, I want to gain two positions at the start. From the position in which we will start, I think this should be the goal.” – Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc explained.
