Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc comments and impressions ahead of the 2020 Eifel Grand Prix:
“The Nürburgring is amazing. I came twice here. I did the very short track in F3 and in Formula Renault the normal track. I always had very exciting races here, especially for the weather and I think it will be the case for this weekend too.” – he explained – “I have never driven the Nordschleife but I am probably planning to go there tonight. It feels like we are going skiing this weekend. It’s going to be very tricky. Putting the tyres in the right window will be very difficult. I think we will have big surprises for this weekend.”
“We tried to first analyze what was wrong on the car and then to address those issues and that is what we are doing at the moment. These are small steps but it is going in the right direction! We have brought very small upgrades for here too but probably a bit more significant than the last race. We tried to do the best we could do with the difficulties we are at the moment so it’s not being easy.” – Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc concluded.
